Ana Gordon specializes in real estate
law, and has an extensive background in bankruptcy and collection law. A native of Port Arthur, Texas, Ana graduated from the
University of New Orleans, in 1973. She received her J.D. from Louisiana State University
Law School in 1975 and admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association in 1976.
Ana began her career working with real estate transactions in the
Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court's office. She was in private practice from 1977 to 1990,
concentrating in and supervising real estate transactions.
In 1990, Ana became in-house counsel to Oak Tree Savings Bank, focusing
on areas of bankruptcy and collections. She also worked with the Resolution Trust
Corporation clearing titles of properties held by the Bank.
Ana practices before all federal and state courts in Louisiana, as well
as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has practiced before the bankruptcy courts of
every district in the state.
