Harry L. "Chip" Cahill co-manages the Westbank office of Stewart Title of Louisiana. He
serves as a title agent for Stewart Title Guaranty.Chip graduated from Southern University Law Center. During law
school, Chip participated as a member of the Law Review Candidacy Program, the Moot Court
Board and Who's Who in American Law Schools. He also served as Assistant Editor of the Public
Defender. He gained admission to the Louisiana State Bar Association in 1987 and
maintained a private law practice since that time.
Appointed to the West Jefferson Levee District
Board in 1991, Chip presides as the President. He has held this elected position since
1993. He also serves as Magistrate for the Town of Jean Lafitte and has held this position
for four years.
Chip participated in the drafting of the Louisiana
Title Insurance Exam. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
