Robert graduated from Loyola University in 1984 where he earned a B.B.A. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School where he obtained membership on the Moot Court Board. In addition to his practice of law, Robert is a Major in the Louisiana Army National Guard.

Robert is admitted to practice before all courts, both federal and state, in Louisiana, as well as before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. Additionally, he is a member of the American Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association and Jefferson Bar Association.
